Special Olympics Northern California unites people with and without intellectual disabilities to create a more connected community A huge congratulations to Athlete Wyatt from Humboldt County and Cristal Sanchez from the Monterey County Probation Department for representing Northern California in the Final Leg Torch Run for the 2025 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Turin, Italy! 🇮🇹 As part of an elite group of 80 law enforcement officers and 8 Special Olympics athletes worldwide, they carried the Flame of Hope. From March 8 - 15, 2025 over 1,500 athletes from 103 countries will compete in 8 disciplines in the name of sport, hospitality and inclusion
